Registered Animal Medicine Advisors (RAMA) have a vital role in optimising farm animal health. Parasite control is a highly technical and constantly changing subject. NADIS have developed an advanced training module for qualified RAMAs to build on their knowledge of parasite control in sheep and cattle. RAMAs completing this course will be confident to provide advice, prescribe appropriate medicines, and produce a parasite control plan using NADIS’ unique on line parasite control planner which is electronically integrated with the localized parasite forecast for farmers RAMAs who pass the assessment module will be accredited by NADIS and AMTRA in advanced parasite control and eligible to use the NADIS parasite control planners

These interactive workshops are recorded and delivered by experienced NADIS farm vets and cover control strategies, recent developments, forecasting, risk assessment, responsible product use. The workshops apply knowledge to real farm situations and encourage evidence-based decision making.
